WILLIAM HANCOCK
-
A natural artist from the outset, William Hancock has spent a lifetime developing and refining his native talent to become the increasing well-known water-colorist he is today.
Over the years, Mr. Hancock has been drawn more and more exclusively, to the medium of water colors. He has studied in Gatlinburg,Tennessee with Ken Schulz of the American Water Color Society and in Woodstock, New York, with John Pike of the American Water Color Society-National Academy. Both men have noted his mastery of water color techiques and the professional excellence of his paintings. Mr. Hancock has his paintings shown in the Fifieth Anniversary Exhibit of the Hoosier Art Solon (an exhibit that traveled to eight major cities, including Chicago) and held a one-man show in 1972. His paintings and prints hang in many distinguished homes throughout the country.
